Refund/Exchange Policy

Exchange Policy

All our tools are tested to make sure that they are in good working condition before delivery. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that prior to ordering, they should make sure that the product they have chosen is entirely suitable for the purpose for which they intend to use it. Therefore, we do not allow refunds for change of mind.

We have a seven (7) calendar days exchange policy upon your receipt of the order, subject to the following terms and conditions:

1) You may exchange due to the following:

a) There is a manufacturing defect in the product you received; or
b) You have received a wrong product from the one that you have ordered.

2) For your exchange to be accepted, you must meet with the following criteria:

a) Exchange items must be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging. We strongly recommend you keep your packaging for at least the first month after purchase.
b) All packaging must be unmarked and not defaced in any manner.
c) This policy does not apply to items which have been stated as non-exchangeable and non-refundable on our website.
d) Items purchased from other sellers and not DIYTOOLS.MY directly are not eligible for exchange.
e) Items purchased as part of a set or multi-item pack, have to be exchanged as a whole set, nothing should be missing from the original packing.
f) Items purchased at DIYTOOLS.MY must be exchanged at the collection centre at 34, Jalan KIP 1, Taman Perindustrian Kip, 52200 Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

3) Exchanges are subject to availability.

a) If the item you purchased is out of stock, you may wait for the arrival of the re-stock or exchange another item of a higher value or ask for a refund.
b) Any exchanges for products of higher prices will require additional payment to make up the price differential.

Steps to exchange:
1) Make known your intention to exchange via our feedback form here.
2) Indicate your Order number and write to us about the defect or wrong product received.
3) Attach pictures of the defect or wrong product received.
4) Send the form to us and we will get back to you within 2 working days.

Refund Policy
1) Item(s) are non-refundable once an order is being confirmed by us through our email confirmation sent out to our customers.
2) Refunds will not be granted due to delays in delivery.
3) For the case whereby an exchange item is out of stock, the customer may ask for a refund or wait for the arrival of the re-stock.
